• 3 x Full Tuition Fee awards
• These awards will cover tuition fees for students studying Postgraduate Taught courses (upto a maximum of £17,000 for no more than 1 year).

Am I Eligible to Apply?

• You must first have an unconditional offer of admission and have accepted that offer by July 15. Therefore, Step # 1 becomes applying to the university – this is a fairly standard practice for most scholarships. See Below for some of my tips on this process
• After this then you fill out and totally complete the scholarship application, which also includes a personal statement as directed.
• There are other requirements for the scholarship – please make sure you read through all of those on their website. These includes restrictions towards sponsored students and eligibility is limited to only the year you apply in – they cannot be deferred.
• Summary – Do not apply if you haven’t been accepted to a course at Cardiff University.

University Application Process

• Remember the scholarship covers a one year postgraduate taught program.

• This explains the application process in detail and you can apply online – I always recommend this option and it is the most reliable method.
• You will need to select a specific course of study – You can find all your options at this link – http://coursefinder.cardiff.ac.uk/postgraduate/index.html. Remember to search for Taught Postgraduate only.

Closing Date:

• Wednesday 30th April 2014 – The University must have received a student’s application to study an academic programme at Cardiff University.
• Friday 30th May 2014 – Students must have submitted their application for the Elite International Scholarship. Applications will only be considered from students who have firmly accepted a conditional or unconditional offer for their academic course by this date.
• Thursday 7th August 2014 – Postgraduate students must have received an unconditional offer to study an academic programme at Cardiff University.
