- The Global Sustainability Leaders Scholarship is an undergraduate scholarship program that focuses on creating a community of future global sustainability leaders.

What does the scholarship cover?
- £6,000 a year, for up to four years of full-time study.
- This amount also covers maintenance and living costs.
NOTE:
- The scholarship amount is to be paid in two installments of £3000 each. The first instalment is paid within 30 days of the commencement of Semester 1, and the second within 30 days of the commencement of Semester 2 in each academic year.

Am I Eligible to Apply?
To qualify for this scholarship, you must:
- be a UK or international fee-paying student;
- be holding an offer for a University of Reading undergraduate program in 2025/26;
- have achieved grades AAA or above in your A levels (or equivalent qualification) or AAB for students eligible for a contextualized offer;
- have completed the scholarship application process for this scheme;
- not have previously received a University of Reading Excellence Scholarship, a University of Reading Sanctuary Scholarship, or a PwC Flying Start Bursary.
How Do I Apply – Next Steps
- Your eligibility for a scholarship is automatically assessed during the application process for an undergraduate program.
- If you meet the application eligibility criteria, you will be invited to apply for a scholarship using the University’s electronic application form.
- Next, apply for the scholarship using the form provided. You will be required to answer questions indicating your commitment to global sustainability and addressing climate and nature issues.
- After this, you will either receive a conditional offer of the scholarship with the academic requirements that you must fulfill, a firm offer of the scholarship, or a notification that your application has been unsuccessful.
