Singapore to provide full scholarships to Myanmar students in technology
- Three universities of Singapore will provide full scholarships to Myanmar students for them to pursue in technological field as part of Singapore’s aid to help the country develop human resources in the sector, sources with the education circle said on Thursday.
- Offered by the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), National University of Singapore (NUS) and Singapore Management University (SMU), the scholarship winning students are to attend full-time undergraduate degree course on nine technological major subjects in the 2010-11 academic year.

Guest Scholarship Program for Master’s level studies in Sweden
- The objective of the scholarship program is to promote democratic, economic and social development through supporting know-how and transfer of knowledge to advanced students within areas in which Sweden is at the forefront of academic research.
- Finnish polytechnics and universities do not charge any tuition fees in their Bachelor’s degree programmes, or Doctoral level studies. Several Master’s programmes do not charge a tuition fee, either.

I am a university student in Myanmar. I have finished Civil Engineering Diploma at Government Technological University in Yangon.However, I changed my subject because of financial problem.Engineering courses are very costly so I cannot continue my subject. At present, I am studying First Year English major at Eastern University in Yangon but I want to join and study Engineering Degree in abroad. I am a Burmese. I’m 21 and finished my BBA.
My aim in life is to be a great blessing for those who are in poverty, lack of knowledge, who are in hopeless on account of no occupation, and the most I want is to share knowledge.
But I wanna study abroad, especially in USA. Though my aim is to get PhD I can’t afford it because of our Myanmar politic condition an education system, because of our low financial situation. I hope that ONE DAY I will an educator.

I’m Nicholas Sam.I’m a Burmese,actually.I’m now 17 and I’ve finished Basic Education. But I don’t like to join the universities in Burma. It won’t be alright with me. Actually, I’m just interested about studying abroad,especially US.But it would cost a lot, I guess. And I know that my parents wouldn’t be able to support me.So, I would be very appreciate if I got scholarship to join university in US. But right now, I know that I’m ready to apply it. So I’m gonna attend English speaking course in American Center.And I’ve heard that it’s really great to be an American.
