  34. Turyamureeba Alex says

    Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a student of the above University and I humbly apply for a scholarship for Bachelor of Real Estate Management programme because of the following reasons below:-
    • My sponsor died of HIV/AIDS in 2002 while I was a student at Makerere University then pursuing Bachelor of Commerce and I had to apply for a “dead year” hoping for better ways to come back and pursue the programme but had no avenue.
    • I have ever since tried to do different jobs without qualifications, and have always settled for less which could not support me back to the University.
    • In February 2010, I joined the ‘Real Estate Industry’ after realizing the need for ‘Affordable Modern and Healthy Shelters’ for our communities however, I analyzed that without developing my career as a professional ‘Realtor’ the vision will not last to achieving the Millennium Development Goals.
    • In January 2011 however, a friend tipped me of a ‘State House Scholarship’ if I could only present the Admission Form. I applied on a direct entry for the above programme where my keen interest now rests and I believe in changing the ‘Health’ and ‘Wealth’ of people through sustainable and affordable shelter for Ugandans and the population at large through exchange of Professional Real Estate Development knowledge.

As I submitted in my application to H.E. The President’s Office, I enrolled at Makerere University Business School, Nakawa for the 2011/2012 Academic year since I had been admitted. I have since persuaded them to allow me continue and even done exams while following up my ‘scholarship’ offer from State House.

At Makerere University Business School, I have managed to involve myself as:-
    • Current Elect President of Makerere University Real Estate Students Association (MURESA), semester 2.
    • Class Representative to MURESA, semester 1.
    • Guild Representative to the Council, Semester 1.
    • Spear head Self Development Projects and Employment to all Real Estate Students with assistance of our Lecturers and Professional Partners like AREA Uganda, Donor Agencies, Development Standards Agencies and all Well Wishers, from semester 1.

On a sad note however, the Assistant Secretary to Principal Private Secretary confirmed to me, how the ‘State House Scholarship Scheme’ was put at a HAULT for the fresh entries of this 2011/2012 academic year to streamline the list of beneficiaries. I am now short of means, only relying on Hope, Faith and Confidence I’m sitting for semester two tests.

In the same pyrite therefore, I hereby humbly apply to your office/organization for such a ‘Crush Scholarship Assistance’ otherwise, I will be forced to drop out of this dream programme and Makerere University for the second time.

Thank you for considering me for the scholarship. Please contact on mobile 0752622165/0702622165.

  39. KADIB THAKKAH SIMON says

Dear friends Regards and Praise the Living God,
This is kadib Thakkah Simon from Soroti Uganda East Africa.
I got save in 1996, I have a land ready for ministry work of God here in soroti, am also looking for someone to sponsor me to a Bible school, am looking for faithfully men and women all over the world to work with, if you know any who is willing to have a ministry here in Africa, particularly in Uganda – most especially soroti, lets work together. Something very powerful and awesome is going on in the world today—something beyond human comprehension—something that will affect the whole world in these last days.
God is preparing a small but powerful army of Christians, the most dedicated army on the face of the earth. The Lord will come forth to command them to do exploit; He is going to close out the ages with a pure, devoted, fearless remnant.
He wants you and me to be able to touch Him and hear from Him. He has given you a ministry to others who will come to you with their burdens and trials. And as you pray for them, His Word will come forth!
I have a burning testimony I would like to share with you for what the Almighty God has done in my life since my childhood Many many wonders I have received and witness from him and to begin with:
I lost my father during the civil war of 1988 in my home country, he was killed by the rebels they picked my father and slaughter him infront of us his family member, how I saw my dads blood coming out sprinkling to us!!
Amazing grace this enemies did not touched me, they raped my sister, robbing everything from our home, friends I lost hope in this world, I went to the neighboring country Kenya for 2 years doing kickboxing for defensive purposes, I dint know Christ, I came back home and work with soldiers as spice young man.

I was drug-edict smoking opium, my life was lost without Jesus, one day my young brother who is my follower told my that lets go to church, I accepted and went with him to church on our way to church I passed by road side cigarette shop to by cigarette and smoke it and continued to walk to church little did I know Gods plans for my life, we prayed people were call to be prayed for salvation, I refuse, on my way back home about 2 km far from the church going back home , there I met with the savior Jesus, I could not go anywhere I was stack on the way, I found my self tuning back to the home of the pastor were I was lead to Christ . from there I lost interest in all bad companions I used to walk with, all sought of smoke I used to smoke , God healed my Soul, I ask God to educate me so that I can do his work and God indeed listened to my request I studded up to advance level of education.

Glory be to God for he saves the sinner like me without him nothing I can do, I am ready to do his work for the rest of my life with al that I have and all that he has blessed me with and those that he will bless me with.
I have lots of testimonies with time I will tell you more, “AMEN”
“Lord, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will prepare their heart; You will cause Your ear to hear” (Psalm 10:17).
    God bless you all
