I am a female Liberian student seeking scholarship in the field of pharmacy; I am a 2009 graduate of the University of Liberia with a 3.5GPA(major Chemistry, minor Biology). I would also like to advance my studies is this field; I have a very low finacial income, yet I believe I can make it by means of scholarship. Upon graduation, I would like to return to Liberia and positively impact my society. It’s my dream that one day Liberians manufacture their own commonly used drugs, have developed female scientists, established a well renown scientific research laboratory and even establish graduate and postgraduate programs in the sciences(note: Liberia does not have any graduate nor postgraduate or PhD programs in any of the Sciences; and infact there are just fewer students reading science, very few are female students– especially in Chemistry and Engineering. I would be grateful if you consider me on any of your scholarship programs which will also serve as a great contribution to my Nations’ Scientific empowerment.
