I am graduate of veterinary medicine On July,18,2009 as out standing student with a c GPA of 3.51 as the top two of my batch mates from Mekelle university. I am currently employed by the ministry of education of the country in Samara university of the Afar regional state as a lecturer since September, 2009. I had been done my thesis on traditional medicine entitled as ” invitro anti bacterial trial of five traditionally used plants for wound and food contaminant bacterias”. This had interested me in pursuing my future career in medical biotechnology (microbial biotechnology, Pharmaceutical biotechnology) to contribute my own role to the development of my country as well to the whole science. How ever there are no well equipped universities with well trained man power and well organized laboratories in our country to continue in such field of study. So i am requesting you to include me in your scholarship programmes.

Dear sir madam
I am a graduate of Addis Ababa University with BSc Degree in Medical Laboratory technology with distinction 3.32 in 2006. Since then I am assigned by the Ethiopian Ministry of Health in a health center and I am working as a medical laboratory technologist. I am serving my country with great motivation.
Recently I took IELTS certificate from British Counsel with overall band score of 6.0 and minimum individual score of 5.0. I am now seeking your generous scholarship support to help me continue my academia in MSc in Public Health, Clinical Haematology, Clinical laboratory Science or any other health realated discipline. I believe these courses are very important to improve the quality of our health service.
If I am given the opportunity, I will be committed to play my part for the health sector development of my country with this qualification, when I get back with this pretegious gift from you. Helping me is helping millions of Ethiopians, as we all know many Ethiopians are lacking primary health care services, that is heartbreaking. I am with great motivation to help my country achieve MDGs.
I feel greatly hopeful to request your honorable offer and I believe I am suitable candidate for your list of scholarship recipients. I wish you communicate me soon for further preparations.
