Am I Eligible to Apply?
To qualify for this scholarship, you must:
- be a citizen of an African country;
- have completed a bachelor’s degree;
- demonstrate outstanding academic performance;
- have already applied for and been accepted into one of the full-time programs eligible for the MCFSP scholarship;
- demonstrate financial need and be from an economically disadvantaged background;
- demonstrate leadership potential and display a commitment to community service.

- Scholars must demonstrate outstanding academic performance, maintaining a high academic average as a critical component of the Program’s expectations.
How do I apply – Next Steps
- Apply for admission to UP first to initiate the application process, then download and complete the hard copy application form from the website indicated below.
- After completing the application, send it electronically to mcfsp@up.ac.za. Attach all the supporting documentation as required.
- Your application will then be reviewed, after which you will be notified of the outcome only if you are successful.
- All eligible applicants will then undergo an interview during the selection process.
