10. Commonwealth-Grenada St. George’s University Scholarship Program
- Academically gifted students with limited resources deserve the ability to reach their potential. SGU recognizes this, and that’s why in January 2007 the University launched The Commonwealth-Grenada St. George’s University Scholarship Program (CGSP). * The program includes 75 scholarships, 10 of which will be awarded to students entering the School of Arts and Sciences. The goal of these scholarships is to train professionals to enhance the business and educational infrastructure of Commonwealth countries, specifically developing nations. Eligible undergraduate degree programs are International Business, Management Information Technology and Life Sciences.
9. Malaysian International Scholarship (MIS)
- is a Premier Scholarship which offer opportunities to an excellent and outstanding young students to pursue their higher education in Malaysian universities. Funded by the Malaysian Goverment under the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP), it is administered by the Ministry of Higher Education. The award are targeted for talented students with an excellent academic records and outstanding cocurriculum background to pursue their Bachelor`s Degree at selected and well established Malaysian public and private universities. The scholarship is a part of Malaysian Goverment’s objective in the encouragement of closer bilateral relations between Malaysia and the MTCP’s participating countries.
8.The China Scholarship Council (CSC)
- is a non-profit institution with legal person status affiliated with the Ministry of Education.
- The objective of the CSC is to provide, in accordance with the law, statutes and relevant principles and policies of China, financial assistance to the Chinese citizens wishing to study abroad and to the foreign citizens wishing to study in China in order to develop the educational, scientific and technological, and cultural exchanges and economic and trade cooperation between China and other countries, to strengthen the friendship and understanding between Chinese people and the people of all other countries, and to promote world peace and the socialist modernization drive in China.
7. Australian National University
- A number of undergraduate fee waiver scholarships are available to students from any country. Overseas Student Health Cover (100%) is also included.
6. New Zealand International Undergraduate Fees Scholarships
- Provide financial support in the form of tuition fees for eligible international students. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit. Up to 28 scholarships a year will be awarded to students undertaking undergraduate study in New Zealand. Students are to submit their applications to the designated agency in their country of citizenship. The agency will then nominate a number of candidates to Education New Zealand for final selection. The scholarships are funded by the New Zealand Government and administered by Education New Zealand.
5. Indian Council for Cultural Relations
- The I.C.C.R on behalf Government of India offers scholarships and fellowships to international students wishing to study in India in various programs and disciplines. Scholarships are available also for research work and non-formal courses (Religion, Classical Music, Dance and Crafts). - ICCR offers 1804 scholarships every year under its various scholarship schemes. International students from over 70 countries study in different universities and educational institutions spread all over India to pursue a variety of courses from under-graduate to post-doctoral level in various subjects.
4. University of British Columbia – Awards for International Students
- The International Leader of Tomorrow Award (ILOT) is given to outstanding secondary school students who have demonstrated exceptional academic ability and leadership potential, and who would be unable to attend UBC without financial support. Awards are by nomination only, and only one student may be nominated by each school or institution.
- The International Student Humanitarian Award (ISHA) is given to students entering UBC directly from secondary school, who have demonstrated academic achievement in circumstances requiring exceptional perseverance. Nominations are accepted from secondary schools and from international community-based and non-governmental organizations.
3. York University – International Entrance Scholarship
- $100,000 – ($25,000 x 4 years)
- Highest academic average
- Demonstrated leadership skill
- Letters of recommendation
- To renew – maintain a high academic standing (7.80 on a 9-point York scale) in each academic year at York
- Deadline: March 1
- This prestigious Programme is open to excellent students from all countries of the world. It is aimed at talented students who want to come to the Netherlands in the final phase of their bachelor’s studies or during their master’s studies.
- The Dutch Minister for Education, Culture and Science has made seven million euros available for excellent students coming to the Netherlands under the HSP Huygens Programme. There is no fixed number of available scholarships. The actual number is determined by the total cost of the variable components of the scholarships.
1. Need-Blind Admissions
- Schools Awarding Financial Need-Blind Admissions Aid. This is a relatively new admissions policy but what it means is that a college or university will admit students regardless of their ability to pay, and for any students that cannot afford the price-tag, the university awards scholarships and other institutional aid to make up the difference. There are nownine US schools that offer need-blind admissions to international students. Basically, if you can get in, you can afford to go – they are:

I completed my second course last year.Unfortunately, the person who was responsible to pay my tuition and composite fees died.Of coures, my parents had died before i entered to the univrersity. presently i am nobody to foot my financial bills, as a result of this ,i stop to attend lectures.
I therefore, write in preferential to the aformentioned sadness in an assistance to continue my medical career.I have tried all possible means elsewhere, in my country , for sponsorship i could not suceed.I remember one day i saw my friends doing their laboratory practicals and been in their dreams, i felt i am the only one God dislikes, then i concluded GOD DISLIKED ME.So i ask that your effort of improving a standard medical acadamy in the under developing contries to mitigate the dead toll and illness , and my condition will seriously touch your kindful heart heart to help me achieve my goal.

To anybody out there that can have pity on me. I am a student at NAIROBI UNIVERSITY in faculty of Medicine.
My Father passed away in 1985 and my mother passed away over 10 years ago. So far I have been living at my uncle’s place where his son took charge of my education. After form 4 he took me to Uganda for high school where I passed very well. I was admitted in Nairobi University under self sponsor programme, due to my having sat my A level exams outside Kenya. He paid for my university fees. He however is not able to pay my fees for 2nd year onwards citing his financial burden as he has not been able to send his own son to university because of me. He has therefore asked me to seek other means to enable me proceed with my Education so that he can send his son to college. I have tried several means of accessing a scholarship, but not lucky yet. I urgently need somebody to assist me complete my studies. I need to serve the community and be able to also help others unfortunately offerned like me, to access education. Please help me achieve this objective. Even before you take up to help me I feel indebted to you already.
