FOR South Sudan SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS
- EVE – Empowering Village Education. A project which provides supports for children in over 100 primary schools in Southern Sudan.
Ambassadors Girls’ Scholarship Program (AGSP)
- An NGOs working in the South Sudan, CARE was selected as an AGSP implementing partner because they already had the Sudan Basic Education Program (SBEP) under way with USAID funding and other partners. AGSP has supported 1,200 girls in 26 schools in South Sudan. During December 2005, a raid by the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) cause the evacuation of all CARE staff from their compound in Maridi. At that time, AGSP was providing support to 1,200 girls in 20 Community Girls’ Schools. The raid and subsequent evacuation suspended support for the AGSP in South Sudan. Opportunities for future AGSP activities in South Sudan are being explored.

How do I begin for this is an other one of my many trials, Lord.
Anyway, I am an education-hungry south sudanese man. I tried many ways of continuing my education after I hardly finished my High School since 2007 in a small town of Narus at a secondary school run by Cotholic Diocese of Torit, but always mised chances just because of my poor financial status. From 2001 to 2005 I had been struggling in finishing high school. Now in 2007 it got through. Again issue of university has come up. It is not easy I think. But they say where there is will, there is a way. yes this is possible for others. Neverthess, it has not been the case with me because I see I always have wills but there have not been ways. Due to my hopes and wills, I pushed myself to get an admission in the University of Juba at the college of Management Sciences, for a Diploma in Business Administration. I just did it but I don’t know who gona pay the fees. I promise my country many things to do to her to change her for the better but that is a trial because how can I do that if I have not aquired better knowledge. Okay, if there are those who think they can help my situation to help my country then their help is most welcomed. I am interested in studying outside Africa especially in America. I don’t mind which university but the one which can fill my brain with the knowledge I need. I am a management minded man so any subjects related to it like business Administration are my core fields of study. So if this your programe can help me I am ready to help myself and my country. You are helpful I know. Could do it for me?
And thanks.
