This is Mohammed Adem (B.pharm) looking for msc in all pharmacy specailization particularly clinical pharmacy OR first degree inpharm D.here i have atched my unofficail documents just for the sake of getting an admision but i will send you them all through my previous university where i graduated from other wise as there is significant scarcity health professionals in my country for the retention of all heath profetionals they will not give us any officail documents.i can assure you if you admit me i will send within few days through the university.here are my application hopefully at least you will guid me how to get an admission.

MOTIVATION STATEMENT

1.INTRODUCTION
The need for expanssion tertairy level training in any medical/health science is evident.the burden of health problems,increasing population pressure and economic challenges indicates the need for effective and efficient program of all health decipline interventions.however,the human resource crisis in contemporary ethiopia has created a huge obstacle to implimenting the health sector development plan to its fullest extent.The decentralized governanace structure in heath sector and the growing number of national and international NGOs reqiure compitent profetionals in all decipline.
The goverment policy and strategic plan shift to producing high level professionals and academicians to support program implementation and expansion of education opportunities have also posed a tremendous challenge to higher learing instituitions.The demand for evidence based interventions is also increasing which necessates the production of high level professionals.offering long and shert term training opportunity for academic staffs has also been used as a retention mechanism in any countries including ethiopia.

2.educational background and experiances

When I completed my five years university studies at jimma university Medical science faculty, school of pharmacy.
I was employed under SRHB(Somali state regional health be roué) in one of the facilities under it(Jijiga Health Science College) to discharge my professional duties and responsibilities as a pharmacy department chair person and as an instructor. I served this community as an academic pharmacist for about a year then upon the request of the nearby and newly established university (JJU) in the region I was transferred to play my professional role as an instructor of pharmacology, Biochemistry and other related courses for undergraduate Nurses and public health students(in east Africa its known as Health officers), After I joined the university almost for about a year it was my most challenging times in my new life b/se the university was newly established with less human resources. so all duties and responsibilities of the college were also left on my shoulder as the pharmacy department was established by my great effort while I was in the college, so that my day and night dream was all about how to strengthen the newly established pharmacy department at the college as well as the health faculty at JJu, just not only to be an instructor at both places.
In terms of research, so far except my undergraduate thesis, as there is no research oriented fertile scientific ground in the university and insignificant senior experts to consult with, I did not do any scientific research apart from the curricular activities.. However my academic background as a pharmacology instructor, role to establish the pharmacy department and my significant role to strengthen the public health faculty and the scarcity of human resources in the region particularly in my profession make apparent to me that a masters program in in clinical pharmacy/pharm D is the most appropriate for me in further facilitating my career development. For this reason I would like to apply for masters of clinical pharmacy or pharmaceutical care program concentrating on clinical pharmacy.
I am interested in studying at your University of clinical pharmacy or pharm D, because, I believe it can give me an unparalleled education on clinical pharmacy or pharm D. More over, your university has long enjoyed prestigious academic positions and has been doing pioneering work in improving health service system and reducing health risks throughout the world including my home country Ethiopia. I am motivated to be exposed to innovative research and high level academic training to acquire effective skills in clinical pharmacy or pharm D in and scientific techniques
A systematic education at your university will be vital for my future career as a senior clinical pharmacy or pharm D expert in that it will allow me to incorporate your clinical pharmacy or pharmaceutical care experience with Ethiopia’s realities. I will be able to perform some creative work in improving Ethiopians existing pharmacy system particularly the product oriented pharmacy practice and the out going drug misuse Catestrophy.

currently,our university which is one the newly stablished universities in the country,has formulated its long term plan known as strategic plan,which is directed toward the stablishment of post graduate schools.This plan include the development of public health in various fields,clinical oriented pharmacy schools,medical schools…hence i would like to study clinical pharmacy courses and other courses which can move our strategic plan at least one step ahead.These circumstances persuade me to apply for a master of clinical pharmacy or other Msc prograns under any foriegn insttiutions which can solve our current challenges.
The above metioned Msc programs are needed in ethiopia because of the following reasons;
1.It will improve education in jigjiga university and inprove the quality of pharmacy service in ethiopia and strengthen the stablishment of the integrated national system.
2.I will fill the gaps of pharmacy /MPH professionals scarcity and strenghten the sustainable development of ethiopia.
considering all the above facts,i blieve that the chosen study will benefit ethiopia in general.
I consider my self to be a good candidate for this scholarship because i am young,energetic,hardworking,visionary,and motiovated person who blieve that i can do something for the benefit of my country to whom i belong and working for.i did my best with all maximum efforts i could give for my institiution.but it is not enough ,frankly,i am not satisfied yet with what i have contributed for my country as well as for humanity.i blieve that i can do much better if i am trained and developed through a master program in clinical pharmacy/MPH under any foriegn institiution.
