  • Radboud University is a public research university located in Nijmegen, Netherlands. 

Scholarship Overview

  • The Radboud Scholarship Programme is a scholarship programme that offers talented and highly motivated non-EEA students with outstanding study results the opportunity to be awarded a scholarship to pursue a Master’s degree at the University.
  • These partial scholarships are awarded for the full duration of an English-taught Radboud University Master’s degree programme.

  • Radboud University in Nijmegen, the Netherlands.

Field(s) of Study

  • Any English- taught Master’s program in the following faculties:
  • Faculty of Arts (1 scholarship)
  • Faculty of Law (9 scholarships)
  • Faculty of Medical Sciences (1 scholarship)
  • Nijmegen School of Management (2 scholarships)
  • Faculty of Philosophy, Theology, and Religious Studies (1 scholarship)
  • Faculty of Science (10 scholarships)
  • Faculty of Social Sciences (2 scholarships)

What does the scholarship cover?

  • A tuition fee reduction to € 2,314
  • Costs for visa and residence permit
  • Health insurance and liability insurance for your stay in the Netherlands (AON Student Insurance).

How many scholarships are given?

  • 26 Radboud Scholarships

Which countries are targeted?

  • All non-EU/non-EEA countries

Am I Eligible to Apply?

To qualify for this scholarship, you must:

  • Hold a non-EU/non-EEA passport.
  • Not be eligible for the lower EU/EEA tuition fee for other reasons.
  • Have or be in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree outside the Netherlands, have no degrees achieved in the Netherlands, and have not received any previous education in the Netherlands.
  • Meet the English language proficiency requirement for the Master’s programme of your choice
  • Have been fully admitted to an English-taught Master’s degree programme starting 1 September 2023 as stated in the formal letter of admission
  • Be enrolled at Radboud University as a full-time student for the academic year and Master’s degree programme for which the scholarship will be awarded
  • Be able to comply with the conditions for obtaining a visa for the Netherlands

How Do I Apply – Next Steps

  • First, indicate that you wish to apply for a Radboud Scholarship when applying for admission to a Master’s programme using the OSIRIS Application system.
  • Next, you will be required to upload additional documents, i.e.
    • Two reference letters
    • A curriculum vitae
  • Note that you must upload these documents for the Master’s programme application and the scholarship application.

NOTE:

The selection for the scholarship and the admission to the Master’s programme are two separate processes, i.e. admission to the Master’s programme does not imply selection for the scholarship.
