• The MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program (MCFSP) enables young people from economically disadvantaged communities to complete quality secondary and tertiary studies.

To qualify for this scholarship, you must:

• Be a high school graduate with either a high school diploma or Government Examination Certificate.
• Be academically talented
• Be economically disadvantaged
• Be committed to giving back to the society
• Have the qualities of a future leader

Note:

• All applicants to Wellesley who apply for financial aid and meet the criteria for the MCFSP will be considered for this scholarship.

How Do I Apply – Next Steps

• Before you apply for the MCFSP, you must have submitted an application for admission at Wellesley College, and indicated your need for financial aid.

To apply for admission to the university:

1. Complete and submit your application to the university

• Use your legal name throughout the application
• Specify your decision plan (Early Decision Round I or II, Regular Decision with Early Evaluation or Regular Decision)
• Write one personal essay
• Complete the essay specific to Wellesley College

1. Submit the following high school credentials

• Three letters of recommendation
• An official transcript
• Diploma of Examination Certificates
• Results of Standardized Tests e.g. SAT (or ACT with Writing)
• English Proficiency Examinations e.g. TOEFL
