Scholarship Overview
- The La Trobe International Scholarship (LTIS) rewards high achieving International students who value academic excellence. High-achieving international students who apply for any undergraduate course at this university will automatically be considered for this scholarship.
- The scholarship provides 15% to 25% off the annual tuition fees for the duration of studies.

What does the scholarship cover?
- This scholarship covers up to a 25% reduction on annual course fees as follows:
- LTU WAM (or equivalent) of 55-69.9 receive a 15% scholarship on annual fees (The La Trobe University International Academic Scholarship).
- LTU WAM (or equivalent) of 70-74.9 receive a 20% scholarship on annual fees (The La Trobe University International Merit Scholarship).
- LTU WAM (or equivalent) of 75 and above receive a 25% scholarship on annual fees (The La Trobe University International Excellence Scholarship).

Am I Eligible to Apply?
To qualify for this scholarship, you must:
- Be an international student who is a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand.
- Be a new international student applying for the 2022/2023 intake.
- Be a full fee-paying student.
- Have applied to a program in the list of scholarship-eligible courses.
How Do I Apply – Next Steps
- Once you submit your application for a La Trobe International Scholarship-approved course, you will automatically be considered for the scholarship.
- Note that the percentage awarded for each scholarship is subject to your Weighted Average Mean (WAM) and the eligibility of the course you choose.
- The scholarship amount you will receive is included in the letter of offer.
