Canada Scholarships for Graduate Study

Carleton University

  • When you submit an application to a program, administrators will automatically consider you for a possible admissions funding offer at the same time — a separate application is generally not required. This funding from Carleton is limited to only a few outstanding international applicants and, if you are eligible for this funding, you will be notified on your Offer of Admission and Funding.

  • Carleton has signed agreements with the following countries and/or agencies, many of which provide joint-funding for international students wishing to pursue their master’s or doctoral studies at Carleton.     • Iraq: Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research

Concordia University – International Tuition Fee Remissions

  • Students awarded international tuition fee remissions are charged tuition fees at the same rate as Québec students.
  • Concordia can exempt a certain number of full-time international students who have been admitted to master’s or doctoral programs from paying academic tuition fees at the international rate; Concordia international tuition fee remissions will be granted on the basis of academic excellence.
  • The Government of Québec also provides International Tuition Fee Remision Awards to students who are admitted to a Québec university and whose country has an international tuition fee agreement with the Québec Government. The Quebec government has a program which allows universities in Quebec to exempt 10% of the international graduate student population from paying tuition at the international student rate.

HEC Montréal

  • Scholarships and bursaries are available to our students thanks to the generosity of Fondation HEC, the School and Granting Agencies.
  • International scholarships were designed to encourage student mobility and international projects as an exchange, a campus abroad or an internship.

University of Calgary

  • Enter the Graduate Awards Database. Your awards search can be filtered in a variety of ways – by award name, program, field of study or by using keywords. Click on the link to begin your search.
  • Good awards for International MBA and Law Students – Plus many others.

University of Manitoba

  • The Board of Governors of the University of Manitoba has approved three awards for international graduate students admitted to a Master’s or Ph.D. program. These awards will be available only to international graduate students studying full-time. International graduate students, whose Grade Point Average for the last two completed years of study is greater than a B+ may be eligible to apply.

University of Regina

  • The Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research established a limited number of scholarships to recognize and reward the excellence of international graduate students pursuing Master’s or Ph.D. degrees at the University of Regina. The scholarships will be available on a competitive basis.
  • The College of Graduate Studies and Research at the University of Saskatchewan has created this web site to serve as a guide for students who are attempting to finance their graduate education. This guide contains descriptions of CGSR awards and awards administered by other Colleges and Departments on this campus.

University of Waterloo

  • Master’s – Full-time international students starting a research-based master’s program will receive an International Master’s Student Award (IMSA) valued at $1,595 per term (the value is approximate to one-half of the differential fee per term) for 2 years (up to term 6.0). Students who are receiving major external awards or sponsorship are not eligible to receive this award.
  • Doctoral – Full-time international students starting a research-based PhD program will receive an International Doctoral Student Award (IDSA) valued at $3,190 per term (the value is approximate to the full differential fee per term) for 3 years (up to term 9.0). Students who are receiving major external awards or sponsorship are not eligible to receive this award.

    I would like to offer my academic qualifications as a graduate from the faculty of Computer and Information Science at the respected Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt being one of the best universities in Information and Computer Science in Egypt.
