The Fulbright Foreign Student Program enables graduate students, young professionals and artists from abroad to study and conduct research in the United States

Scholarship Overview

  • Awards approximately 1,800 student grants to non-U.S. nationals to study in the United States annually and there are approximately 3,200 new and continuing student fellows are currently in the United States on Fulbright grants.
  • Scholars are chosen for their leadership potential—with the opportunity to observe each political, economic and cultural institutions, exchange ideas, and embark on joint ventures of importance to the general welfare of the world’s inhabitants.
  • Receives primary funding through an annual appropriation from Congress to the United States Department of State. Participating governments and host institutions in foreign countries, and in the United States, also make significant financial contributions through cost-sharing and indirect support, e.g., through salary supplements, tuition waivers, and university housing.

    I am are a registered pharmacist in Ethiopia . I am B.Pharm graduated from Gonder University with great distinction CGPA=3.72 and currently I am working as Assistance lecturer in Dessie Health Science College , but now I want to continue Master program in CLINICAL PHARMACY or MASTER OF CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY or any field related to Pharmacy Master program (i.e Biopharmaceutic or Pharmaceutical Analysis) .     I am from Ethiopia, have DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) From Addis Ababa university faculity of veterinary medicine. Currently i am an employee of the the Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research in the pastoral area of Ethiopia. As we know all the livelihood of pastoralists are dependent on Livestock production. These poor pastroralists of Ethiopia had several challenges on livestock production & animal disease is the major one. Though it is my great plesure to solve the problems of these poor pastoralists, i donot have an excellent knowledge & exprience to do. So please to bring my dream real, give me a scholal ship opportunity in any department related to my profession to up grade my knowledge & skills and inturn you will help my country.
