Am I Eligible to Apply?
To qualify for this scholarship, you should:
- Be a citizen of an overseas country apart from New Zealand.
- Not hold Australian citizenship, New Zealand citizenship, or Australian permanent resident status.
- Be intending to commence full-time study for a higher degree by research in Australia in the year for which the award is to be offered.
- Be a first-time student at Flinders University.
- Be intending to enroll in an area of research concentration (areas where the University has concentrated its research resources, has a particular strength, and has attracted external funding.
- Satisfy all entry requirements for a higher degree by research.
- Meet the English proficiency language requirements for a higher degree.
- Not be receiving income from another source to support your general living costs while undertaking your course of study.
- Not have previously received a FIPRS for a research doctorate degree.
- Not be on paid study leave.
How do I Apply – Next Steps
- First, apply for admission to a Higher Degree by research via Studylink, where all the details you need about international admission are available. (This step is not necessary if you already have a valid offer.)
- After you complete your registration for admission on the Flinders University website, you will receive a Flinders Authentication Name (FAN), after which you can submit your application for the International RHD scholarship group.
