Hawk Mountain Sanctuary – Internships
- Do you have a strong interest in raptors and birds? Are you committed to a career in conservation? If so, a Hawk Mountain Sanctuary internship offers an excellent hands-on training experience that strengthens your ability to contribute to conservation.
- Each year, Hawk Mountain Sanctuary offers 12-14 competitive Conservation Science internships to applicants from around the globe. Interns work closely in a mentor-student relationship with at least one senior staff member. Each intern completes an independent project and gains hands-on experience in one of three tracks; research, monitoring or environmental education.
- The new Acopian Center for Conservation Learning provides a model setting for work and study. A modest stipend and some travel assistance is typically available.

African Student Scholarship – Brandeis University, USA
- The Poverty Alleviation and Development (P&D) Scholarship for the Master of Arts in Sustainable International Development will be awarded to an early– to mid-career development planner committed to poverty alleviation and community development within the region of Southern Africa.
Guest Scholarship Program for Master’s level studies in Sweden
- The objective of the scholarship program is to promote democratic, economic and social development through supporting know-how and transfer of knowledge to advanced students within areas in which Sweden is at the forefront of academic research.
Community College Initiative Program
- The Community College Initiative Program enables individuals from Brazil, Cuba, Egypt, Ghana, Indonesia, Pakistan, South Africa, Turkey, and selected countries in Central America to spend one year studying at community colleges in the United States and earn a vocational certificate. This program also provides for South Africa Scholarships.
