Scholarship Overview
- The Cost of Attendance is the total cost of attending Caltech for one year. It includes both direct charges from Caltech, like tuition and fees, as well as other expenses, like books and supplies.
- The Family Contribution represents the amount of money your family would be expected to pay for one year of school. We calculate the exact amount of your family’s contribution with our needs analysis formula.
- Caltech will meet your demonstrated financial need through a combination of awards known as a financial aid package. A typical package will consist of grants and scholarships, student employment, and student loans.

Am I Eligible to Apply?
- It’s no secret that admission to Caltech is selective; we welcome only about 230 new freshmen and 10 to 15 new transfer students to campus each fall. These students come to Caltech from all over the United States—and the world—bringing with them diverse experiences, perspectives, and passions.
- Hoping to be among next year’s undergraduate class? All we ask is that you share the typical Caltech student’s unbridled sense of curiosity and extraordinary aptitude for and interest in science, engineering, and technology.
How do I Apply – Next Steps
- You are considered a first-year applicant if you have not yet earned a high school diploma; this includes those of you who have been homeschooled or are enrolled in high school/college dual enrollment programs. You are also considered a first-year applicant if you graduated from high school but have not since enrolled in college courses for credit.

I hold B.Sc in Community Nutrition from University for Development Studies in Ghana. Unfortunately, I have very little opportunity to practice as a Nutritionist. Most masters and M Phil programmes requires three or more working experience and International English language certificates like the GRE which I do not have.
How can you please help me gain admission to do masters or M Phil in any of the following areas; Public Nutrition, Nutritional Epidemiology, Global Health, Public health, Dietetics or any other public health related fields.
Please anybody with can send into my e-mail address
Thank you.

Dear sir/madam
I am Toza and I have just finished her O level education and I would like to study economics and or gender and rural development. However I can not afford university fees. I am from Malawi and both my parents are not working. I am looking for scholarship to come and study at your university. I am hard working and mature. I was married, have three children and divorced. I know the what poverty is and I think a degree education would take me out of my current situation.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
