Am I Eligible to Apply for York University International Scholarships?

• Posses an excellent academic record (“A” average or equivalent)
• Have demonstrated leadership through community service or excellence in the arts, sports or other areas of individual achievement
• Applying directly from high school no more than two years after graduation and have no previous university or college studies
• Preference will be given to students who demonstrate financial need.

Application includes

• An essay that includes your goals, ambitions and reasons for applying for York’s scholarship program (maximum 500 words) – Make this awesome!!!
• A statement outlining your financial need (maximum 250 words)
• One letter of reference
• A nomination letter from your school
• Financial Declaration Form
• A list of activities, community involvement, awards and honors. Include the start date/end date of the activity; name of the organization/school; number of hours; and relevant details.
