South African Scholarships FOR PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS
- AET has a very small grant programme for South African Scholarships to assist in the payment of school fees for disadvantaged children.
- Kenneth Kirkwood was the first Professor of Race Relations at Oxford and Chairman of AET from 1987-1994. His memorial fund provides support for students from Southern Africa who encounter financial problems. First priority for this grant goes to students at St Antony’s College.
Room to Grow Girls’ Scholarship
- In the Challenge Grant Model we select regions in which we want to operate, areas where we have built schools or established libraries and thus know the local authorities. Each applicant and her family complete a simple written application and have a personal interview.
