Scholarship Overview

  • The International Cultural Service Program (ICSP) at the University of Oregon provides partial tuition scholarships to new and continuing international students who also serve as cross-cultural ambassadors in the Eugene-Springfield area.
  • In exchange for the scholarships, the program required that the students complete 66 to 80 hours per year of cultural service, leading presentations about their home culture in local schools and community organizations.

To qualify for this scholarship, you must:

  • qualify for admission at the University of Oregon;
  • have been fully admitted to a study program at the University of Oregon;
  • not be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or eligible to receive U.S. federal financial assistance;
  • meet the minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA requirement;
  • demonstrate financial need;
  • have strong academic records indicating academic merit;
  • have experience in participating in cultural activities.
