Scholarship Overview
- The McCall MacBain Scholarship is a graduate scholarship that provides students with the mentorship, interdisciplinary learning, and global community they need to impact the world.
- This scholarship program gives its recipients tools to develop leadership skills, expand their knowledge, and connect with mentors and advisors with the aim of training them to lead with purpose.
- The McCall Macbain Scholars pursue a funded master’s or second-entry professional undergraduate program at McGill University while participating in an interdisciplinary leadership program.

What does the scholarship cover?
- Tuition and fees
- A living stipend of CAD 2300 per month during the academic term
- A one-time relocation grant for moving to Montréal
- Beginner to advanced French language courses offered through McGill

Am I Eligible to Apply?
To qualify for this scholarship, you must:
- meet the minimum degree and language requirements for a master’s program at McGill University;
- have a bachelor’s degree or its recognized equivalent, or be on track to complete your bachelor’s degree by August 2026;
- be 30 years or younger on January 1, 2025;
- have earned your bachelor’s degree in the last five years.
How Do I Apply – Next Steps
- You must apply for the McCall MacBain Scholarship before you apply for the graduate program.
- The McGill application is separate from the scholarship application.
- Make sure you submit your completed application early enough.
