What does the scholarship cover?

The scholarship amount is based on the Weighted Average Mean (WAM). Students who are planning to apply for this scholarship should have the Australian equivalent of 65% or higher. The criteria are as follows:

• LTU WAM (or equivalent) of 65-67.99 receive a 15% scholarship on annual fees.
• LTU WAM (or equivalent) of 70-74.99 receive a 20% scholarship on annual fees.
• LTU WAM (or equivalent) of 75 and above receive a 15% scholarship on annual fees.

Am I Eligible to Apply?

To qualify for this scholarship, you must:

• Be classified as a local student, i.e. a student from Australia, New Zealand, a permanent humanitarian visa holder, or a permanent visa holder.

OR:

• Be classified as an international student – a citizen of any country apart from New Zealand or Australia who does not have a permanent visa or a humanitarian visa.

In addition,

• Meet all the English language and academic requirements for the course
• Have a conditional offer for an undergraduate program at any of the regional campuses of the university.
• Have applied for and been given provisional admission.

How Do I Apply – Next Steps

• First, apply online for your course. If your chosen course is one of those eligible to receive the scholarship and you meet all the admission requirements, the Scholarship Committee will consider your application.
• You can also send your application by post, or through a La Trobe representative in your area.
• Once you receive your scholarship award letter, study the conditions of your offer (if applicable), after which you will need to accept the scholarship as soon as possible.
