Scholarship Overview

The Monash University International Leadership Scholarship targets high-achieving students who can be effective ambassadors for the university.
These scholarships are open to any international student who has received a Monash undergraduate degree course offer.

100% course fees paid until the minimum number of points for the degree are completed.

To qualify for this scholarship, you must:

Have received a full Monash course offer
Be intending to enroll full-time in an undergraduate degree at a Monash campus in Australia.
Not be a recipient of any other scholarships, grants or financial incentives funded by Monash University or any other institutions.
Have a minimum TOEFL score of 79 or IELTS score of 6.5.
Have a minimum PTE score of 58 with no PTE communication score below 50.

Note:

To retain this scholarship, applicants must maintain a weighted average mark (WAM) of 70% or above each semester.
The applicant must also participate in at least 3 marketing and/or scholarship promotional activities.

Selection Criteria

High academic achievers stand a better chance of being awarded this scholarship.
Applicants will also be assessed based on their scholarship application statement and their potential to be an ambassador for Monash University.

How do I Apply – Next Steps

First, you must receive a full Monash course offer with no conditions
Second, submit a separate application form for the scholarship, which includes a 500-word personal statement.
Submit your application before or on the deadline date.
Note that there are 6 rounds of application every year, in January, March, April, May, October and November.
