  • The scholarship is only granted to a student once.

How to Apply – Next Steps

  1. Register for the Master’s Program
    • First, students register for a master’s program on Studielink and after that on the VUnet Portal. More details on the application process for English-taught master’s programs are found on the VUnet Portal.
    • You must apply for the Master’s program before applying for the VUFP scholarship.
  2. Submit the VUFP application
    • Submit your VUFP application on the VUnet portal, together with the required documents.

  • Provide a document with the grading scale used, containing a clear explanation of the GPA calculations. If the GPA achieved is the equivalent of the Dutch grade of 8.0 (on the Dutch scale of 1-10), then academic excellence is proven.

    • Why do you think you deserve the VUFP scholarship?
  • Also mention other relevant motivations that will convince the committee that you deserve the scholarship

c)  Curriculum Vitae

5. Acceptance of the VUFP offer

  • All selected candidates must either accept or decline the offer via the VUnet portal. The deadline for this is two weeks after the results are published, on 15 April 2021.
