• The UCL Global Masters Scholarship Program was set up with the intention of encouraging international students to pursue full-time master’s degree studies at UCL.
• These scholarships target international students from low-income backgrounds.

• A sum of £15000 for the whole of the first year.

How many scholarships are given?

• 85 scholarships.
• Note that 5 of these scholarships are set aside for students from India.

Am I Eligible to Apply?

You can apply for this scholarship if you:

• Are eligible to pay the Overseas fee rate
• Come from a low-income background
• Have submitted a complete admission application (including the submission of references) for a full-time Master’s degree at UCL in 2024/25. 

How do I Apply – Next Steps

• You must first submit an admission application to UCL (including references) before applying for the scholarship.
• After that, access the online scholarship form using the following procedure:
  • Login to Portico with your normal details.
  • Click on the ‘View’ button for the ‘Active Application’ that you wish to apply for funding for.
  • In the application screen, click on the ‘Funding’ in the menu at the top of the page.
  • Once you open the funding page, to find out which funds you are eligible to apply for click ‘Check and apply‘ under ‘Funds Available’.
  • Click on the scholarship name of the scheme that you wish to apply for.

• Financial need
• Recommendation from the Student Funding Office.
