Karim Rida Said Foundation

  • Study for a Master’s Degree in the UK
  • The KRSF is able to provide full or partial scholarships for masters’ degrees at universities around the UK depending on the level of financial need or whether other grants are available to applicants. While we are able to provide full funding, we are also happy to provide matching funds.
  • In addition, the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office (the FCO) and the KRSF jointly fund up to 10 KRSF/Chevening awards annually for postgraduate study.
  • The Foundation can also consider distance learning courses and shorter postgraduate courses at accredited UK academic institutions.

Palestinian Refugee Scheme

  • Each year the Foundation supports 15 to 20 scholars who are registered Palestinian refugees to pursue first degrees (Bachelor Degrees) at accredited universities in the region. The scheme is administered by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) who will advertise the awards and select scholars according to the following criteria:
  • Candidates must be aged between 18 and 21, having completed secondary education within the last two years;
  • Candidates should be unable to afford to complete a university degree due to their economic circumstances;
  • Candidates must excel in their final secondary school examinations;
  • Scholarships are available for four- or five-year university degree course in liberal arts/social sciences, law, business, public administration or applied sciences in an accredited university in the target countries/territories;
  • Successful candidates must not be beneficiaries of any other scholarship scheme.
  • Interested applicants who meet the above criteria are advised to make further enquiries through UNRWA.

Sylvia and Joseph Slifka Israeli Coexistence Scholarship – Brandeis Scholarships

  • This scholarship is awarded nearly every year to two Israeli citizens; one Arab and one Jewish. These students, along with the two recipients of the Judd and Jennifer Malkin Israeli Scholarship, bring reality and personal commitment to the campus discussion of peaceful coexistence in Israel and in the world in general.  The Slifka Scholarship will be awarded for fall 2008.
  • Applicants must be Israeli citizens, demonstrate strong academic achievement and English proficiency and have been involved significantly in coexistence efforts. The Common Application and additional international forms are required; no special form is required for an applicant to be considered for the Slifka Scholarship.  An interview by invitation of the Selection Committee is required; these will be conducted in Israel in February.  Dual US and Israeli citizens are not considered for this award.

University of Westminster – Palestinian European Academic Cooperation in Education (PEACE) scholarships

  • These scholarships are jointly awarded with International Students House. For further information, please visit www.unesco.orgAmount: Full tuition fee waivers, accommodation at International Students House, living expenses and flights to and from London.Eligibility: You must be from Palestine and hold an offer for any full-time Masters degree at the University.Criteria: Academic excellence, development potential and financial need.

    I am a palestinian refugee living in lebanon, i have 34 years old, currently i work in a copy center in beirut city, i obtained my high school diploma in 1996(philosophy section) and for many circumstances i could not continue my university studies, i am fluent in french and english language, i read a lot ,my hobby is reading, i am interrested in pursuing my univesity studies in any human major i really need help for economic reason, i like europe very much and especially germany i look forward for your urgent help, i accept to study in any european country in french or english laqnguage.

    I’m a palestinian and I living in Saudi Arabia, i’m 19 years old,i finished studying my secondary school, i could not complete my studying at university because my economy is low . i hope that find help from you to study at any countries in Europe . i like engineering studying .
