Step # 2 in your Free Scholarships Search
Let me introduce myself – My name is Samuel
I am committed to providing students resources that help them find an international free scholarship.I studied as an international student in the United States 20 years ago. Since then I have been helping and advising other students on now to navigate the free scholarships process.
Here are a couple of things that you can do today to help move your search forward.
TIP # 1
My best recommendation is that you sign up to Receive my LATEST and BEST Free Scholarship EMAIL Opportunities.
I don’t send a lot of emails, no more than one a week – but when I do send one be assured that it will be one of the best scholarships opportunities available.
You can also use this method to communicate with me, follow us on Facebook or twitter or be my friend on Facebook. All of these methods help me to be able to get you the most relevant information as quickly as possible.
As much as I would like to correspond with each person personally, please remember that I receive hundreds of email each day, so I am not able to respond to each comment personally. If you do have a specific question please reply to the emails and I will do my best to reply.
Please note there are several things I cannot do for you:
- Fill out an application for you. You must do this yourself and that involves an investment of your time in fulfilling all the requirements and an investment of money for internet access to obtain your free scholarships
- Provide direct sponsorship or financial aid. My only advice for you on how to find a sponsor is found at this link from African Christian. Finding a sponsor is often a process that comes out of previous established relationships and I have never heard of a situation where someone from a developed country, on the basis of an internet relationship, decided to sponsor someone. I would not put any hope in this method.
TIP # 2
Familiarize yourself with our website – we only list the best scholarships on our site.
Here are two links that will give you an overview of those:
These list show the most recent list of the best undergraduate and graduate free scholarships that we have found – you can get a feel for what is out there. If you don`t feel these are adequate for your financial needs and personal goals that we would recommend trying additional websites for alternate information – however, I don`t think you`ll find better opportunities than these
TIP # 3
Check out other websites. Well, I really believe that our content and services are unique on the web but there are other good sites for you to check out. Here is a link to what we consider the best other sites for you to gain information form on Free Scholarships.
This link is worth checking out – just for the Number One option – we`ll come back to that opportunity later in our steps but it certainly is worth familiarizing yourself with now.
TIP # 4
Do an honest assessment of your age, academic ability, your language schools and past grades. Here is a portion of a recent email I received.
Now I`m sure the sender of this email is a great guy and if we met we would be friends. Yet, I hate to say it, but his English skills are awful. Now, no matter how good his intentions are and how smart he is in his native country and language, he is not going to qualify for an international scholarship where English is needed. They are just too competitive for his current ability level. My advice to him – study locally – improve dramatically your English language skills and after that assess your options.
If you do not have the grades or abilities then a search for the types of free scholarships we list on our site may not be for you.
Lastly if you are seeking an undergraduate scholarship and are over the age of 30 or a graduate scholarship and are over the age of 35 you chances are very limited. These are the usual cut offs ages – sure there are exceptions but these ages provide a good general guide.
Well sign up for the mailing list, check out this website and others and to a self-assessment. Once you have done that you are ready for Step # 2. We give you what we think is the best place to start your free scholarships search
