University of Edinburgh – Coca-Cola scholarship
- In conjunction with Coca-Cola, we offer a number of scholarships for undergraduate study in any subject offered at the University.
- The scholarships cover the full tuition fees and an annual maintenance allowance of £5,000 and are tenable for the duration of the programme of study.
- The scholarships are competitive and will be awarded to citizens from Ukraine who are accepted for admission on a full-time basis for an undergraduate course of study and whose personal circumstances would otherwise make accepting an offer from us difficult.
- Financial assistance from the USA/USA Program is limited to covering the cost of the seminar, test preparation books and standardized tests fees. However, USA/USA is working hard to make sure that each qualified student can have their financial needs met. Part of the extensive research about scholarship opportunities in Ukraine and abroad carried out by USA/USA volunteers is presented in this section. Please note that all scholarships except North American Ukrainian Student of the Year are external to USA/USA.
- Scholarship Program for Ukrainian Students for scholars coming to the V4 countries from Ukraine. Successful applicant within this scheme will receive a scholarship of EUR 2,500/semester and the host university/institute will receive the support of EUR 1,500/semester. All applicants have to have successfully finished at least 4 semesters of university studies prior to applying. All universities accredited by the appropriate government (Education Ministries) and institutes or academies of science are eligible to be host as well as home institutions.
FOR GRADUATE STUDENTS
Alberta Ukrainian Centennial Commemorative Scholarships
- Established in 1991 by Premier Don Getty on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the first Ukrainian settlement in Canada, and administered by the Alberta Heritage Scholarship Fund.
- To acknowledge the significant contributions of Ukrainian settlers in Alberta and to commemorate the Centennial of Ukrainian settlement in Canada and Alberta (1891-1991).
- $12,500 and living allowance of $8,000. Includes tuition and $500 for books and materials. In addition, $1,000 research stipend and one return airfare.Two awards are available annually: one award to a resident of Alberta and one award to a resident of Ukraine. Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll in full-time study at the graduate level. Students may be enrolled at an institution in their home country and studying in the other country. Recipients will be required to pass a language proficiency examination; in Ukrainian for the Alberta student and in English for the student from Ukraine.
Finnish Government Scholarship Pool
- offers scholarships of 3-9 months for Doctoral level studies, research and teaching at a higher education institution in Finland. The Finnish Government Scholarship Pool programme is open to young researchers from all academic fields. The scholarships can not be applied for post-Doctoral studies or research.
- The scholarships are based mainly on cultural agreements or similar arrangements between Finland and the following countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, China, Cuba, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Mongolia, Namibia, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Korea, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine.
Marusia Yaworska Music Scholarship
- awards a number of scholarships to outstanding students in Ukraine and Canada. This graduate-level music scholarship is intended to recognize the most talented person in Canada or Ukraine, and to promote music study.
- Minimum of two (normally, one scholarship will be awarded to a student from Canada, and one from Ukraine)
- Each award is up to $5,000 Cdn. (non-renewable)
- For graduate level (master, doctorate, or post-doctorate) study.
- be an individual of Ukraine or Canada;
- be enrolled full-time or eligible for enrolment and intending to enrol full-time in a recognized music programme at the university level or equivalent, in Canada, Ukraine, or elsewhere;
- be nominated by the student’s school of music
