FOR UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

University of Edinburgh – Coca-Cola scholarship

• In conjunction with Coca-Cola, we offer a number of scholarships for undergraduate study in any subject offered at the University.
• The scholarships cover the full tuition fees and an annual maintenance allowance of £5,000 and are tenable for the duration of the programme of study.
• The scholarships are competitive and will be awarded to citizens from Poland who are accepted for admission on a full-time basis for an undergraduate course of study and whose personal circumstances would otherwise make accepting an offer from us difficult.

College of Saint Catherine – Wasie Scholarship for Women Leaders

• Up to $20,000 per year while enrolled full time
• One Wasie Scholarship for Women Leaders is awarded each year to an undergraduate, female student who is a citizen of Poland. Applicants must:
• Complete a College of St. Catherine International Student Application for Admission and submit all required documents.
• Complete all components of the scholarship application from the Wasie Foundation. Please send an email to international@stkate.edu to have the application form sent.
• Write one additional essay of 300-500 words, covering the following points:
• Wasie scholarship recipients are required to live at the college and make three presentations to community organizations about aspects of Polish life and culture per year.
• Recipients will also be awarded an on-campus job, which generally requires 12 hours of work per week during the academic year.
• Winners of the Wasie Scholarship must reapply each year for renewal of funding.
• One new Wasie Scholarship for Women Leaders will be granted each academic year. Scholarship deadline is March 15. Decisions will be made at the end of May.

MBA’s

UQ Business School – MBA Scholarships for International Students

• UQ Business School is delighted to announce four full fee-waiver scholarships for international students entering the full-time MBA in 2010.
• Three of these scholarships are open to people applying from Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and Great Britain (including British Nationals Overseas).
• One full fee-waiver scholarship is available to students applying from India to study in 2010.

FELLOWSHIPS

International Senior Research Fellowships

• support outstanding researchers, either medically qualified or science graduates, who wish to establish a research career in an academic institution. We usually expect applicants for this scheme to have spent a significant period of their postdoctoral (or equivalent) research career working outside their chosen country. However proposals can also be considered from those who have pursued successful careers entirely in-country. Applications are particularly encouraged from outstanding scientists working outside their own countries who wish to return home.
